AL leader in Moulvibazar murdered

An Awami League (AL) leader was killed here on Monday over a land dispute, police and family sources said. Sheikh Abdul Khaleque, 55, president of Ward No 7 unit of Moulvibazar Pourasava AL died on the spot following indiscriminate beating with stick and brick by a gang of about six people at his Dargah Mohalla house, they said. Family members said they have identified the killers with whom Khaleque had a land dispute.
