Exams Under Open University

8 teachers, 13 examinees expelled

Eight teachers and 13 examinees were expelled yesterday for cheating in degree and SSC examinations held under Open University at Aditmari Degree College centre. Expelled teachers are associate professor Ramjan Ali, lecturers Abul Kalam Azad, Mizanur Rahaman and Abul Kalam of Aditmari Degree College and Abdul Mannan and Fazlur Rahman, assistant teachers of Namuri Adarsha Girls' School and Ruhul Amin and Provanshu Ranjon Roy, lecturers of Duhul Technical School and College. Of the expelled students, six are degree examinees and students of Aditmari Degree College while seven others are SSC examinees and students of Namuri Adarsha Girl's School and Duhuli Technical School and College. Contacted, Aditmari upazila nirbahi officer (UNO) AYM Zia Uddin Al Mamun confirmed it.
