Rivals lock in gunfight

At least 15 people were injured, three with bullet in a gunfight yesterday between two groups at Chandgram village in Bheramara upazila. According to police, Inu and Kota, two influential persons had long-standing rivalry over establishing supremacy in the area. Yesterday morning, one Enamul belonging to Inu group beat up Raisul of Kota group sparking a gunfight. Of the injured, Hasu, 25, Ratna, 22, and Siddiq, 30, were admitted to Kushtia General Hospital with bullet wounds.
