BSF pushes in 11Indians

Indian Border Security Force (BSF) yesterday pushed 11 Bangla- speaking Indian nationals, including seven children, into Bangladesh territory through Patolshah border under Dinajpur Sadar upazila, according to the BDR sources. They are Sheikh Sharif, 40, Aleya Begum, 35, Sheikh Akbar, 13, Salma 12, Sheikh Afridi 8, Sheikh Muskan, 10, Rukhsana, 9, Afsana, 2, Sheikh Islam, 32, Nazma, 24, and Ali, 3. They belong to two families. On information BDR personnel from Barogram outpost rushed to Patolshah village and detained the Indians. They told the BDR personnel that Indian police arrested them in Delhi on May 11, saying that they are Bangladeshi nationals. Despite showing Indian ration cards, police handed them to BSF men, the victims said. They further said the BSF personnel from Amulia camp brought them to Patolshah border early yesterday and pushed them into Bangladesh. BDR company commander Nayek Subedar Badaruddin said they sent a letter to the BSF authorities urging them to take back their nationals.
