Residential students of Sergeant Fazlul Huq hostel hurled brickbats on the house of the principal of Barisal Brojo Mohon (BM) College on Monday night demanding immediate removal of the superintendent of the hostel. They also ransacked the hostel's dining room. Earlier, they brought out a procession on the campus alleging corruption by the superintendent. The hostel superintendent, however, claimed that a group of students became agitated as he tried to restrict movement of outsiders and drug addicts in the hostel and planned to take disciplinary measures.
