Outlaw killed in bomb blast

A suspected outlaw was killed while two others received injuries at village Kuchiamora under Ataikula Police Station yesterday. Police said Shipon Mondol,30, son of Nasim Mondal of village Kuchiamora was carrying a bomb, which suddenly went off, leaving him dead on the spot. Abu Bakar and Hossain Ali were injured in the blast. Police recovered the body and sent it to Pabna General Hospital for autopsy. Officer-in-charge (OC) of Ataikula Police Station said the dead belonged to outlawed Janajudhha faction of the Purbo Banglar Communist Party (PBCP).
