The Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Rajshahi, yesterday rejected bail prayers of six BDR soldiers in the sedition case filed against them. The BDR men-- Layek Ali Mondol, Ashraf Ali, Morshed Alam, Azizur Rahman, Mominul Islam, and Khalilur Rahman--are among the 93 paramilitary troops who are facing sedition charges for staging mutiny at their respective stations following Pilkhana 'revolt'. All the 93 BDR rebels, who were arrested on May 18, were produced before the court yesterday amid tight security.
