Thieves took away gold ornaments, cash and valuables from an apartment in the port city yesterday. Sources said, the thieves broke into the house of one Haider Ali on the first floor of a five-storied building at Akbar Shah Mazar Lane under Khulshi Police Station on Saturday night and decamped with more than 40 tolas of gold ornaments, Tk 70 thousand and other valuable items.
