Schoolboy drowns in river

A schoolboy drowned in the River Mohananda near Sornokar Potti Ghat in Chapainawabganj town yesterday morning. Victim Nayem Ahmed Osmani, 14, is the son of Zafar Ahmed Osmani of Islampur village and a student of class nine. Police and family sources said, the incident happened when Nayem along with friends went to the river for swimming in the morning.
