Three sued for war crimes

Three alleged rajakars have been sued for killing a man in Abhoynagar upazila of the district during Liberation War in 1971. Hadiuzzman Fakir, son of slain Akbar Ali Fakir of Sarkhola Village under the upazila, filed a petition case with the Judicial Magistrate's Court, Jessore, yesterday. The accused are Khwaja Saeed Shah, Lutfar Rahman Munshi and Abul Kalam of Guikara village under Abhoynagar upazila. In the case statement, the complainant said the accused picked up his father from Nowapara Bazar on November 17,1971 for helping freedom fighters, took him to a camp and shot him dead.
