13 shops gutted in Comilla

At least 13 shops were gutted in a fire at Aserparbazar in Monharpur upazila Thursday morning. Shop owners estimated the damage at Tk 80 lakh but fire service officials put the figure at Tk 50 lakh. Locals said, the fire originated from electric short circuit at a laundry shop at about 5.00am.
