President to summon session on PM’s advice

The first session of the 13 Parliament will be held on March 12, Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed said today.
The president will convene the session on the advice of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, he said after a meeting with him.
For all latest news, follow The Daily Star's Google News channel. Salahuddin Ahmed said that the Speaker and Deputy Speaker will be elected on the opening day.
However, no discussion has yet been held regarding the election of a new president.
