Rucsu polls: Former SAD coordinators, general students announce panel to contest

Former coordinators of Students Against Discrimination (SAD) and some general students today announced a panel titled "Adhipotto Birodhi Oikya" to contest the upcoming Rajshahi University Central Students' Union (Rucsu) election.

Mehedi Hasan, former RU coordinator of SAD, made the announcement in front of the Rucsu building around noon.

As per the announcement, Mehedi will contest for the post of vice-president (VP) while Salahuddin Ammar will contest for general secretary (GS), and Akil Bin Taleb for assistant general secretary (AGS).

Additionally, Md Yasin Arafat will contest for the post of sports secretary in the Rucsu election, while Md Monju Arif will run for assistant sports secretary, Md Mahbub Alam Mohon for cultural affairs secretary, and Hema Akter Eva for women's affairs secretary.

The Rucsu election is scheduled to be held on September 25.
