If Awami League government goes ahead with the Rampal Project at the current location, which means within 9 to 12 km of the Sundarbans, it will lay the foundation stone for destroying the Sundarbans.

Very sad that the vital issue of environmental effect has been ignored. With such high density of population in BD, we must be extra cautious in these aspects. The plant may not give desired results but rather create ecological problems.
