Corruption in teacher recruitment
It is a matter of great regret that in recent years, teachers are being appointed through rampant corruption and unscrupulous ways where political persuasion and bribe are the pre-conditions to get appointed as a teacher. On October 9, 2013, the final result of Assistant Teachers' recruitment exams for pre-primary education was published where the meritorious candidates were neglected. Only those who contacted the MPs, ministers and could give bribe money found their names in the list. I know this because I myself was a candidate and after the viva, many candidates asked me whether I made any contact and gave bribe. Though I successfully passed all stages of the exams (even I had a quota of Ansar-VDP), I didn't find my name in the list.
If corruption continues like this, what will be the future of this country? What is left for the meritorious ones who really want to serve the nation?
