Learn, but not by rote
Some students believe that reading for hours and memorising lessons will give them the knowledge they need to get good academic results. They spend all their times after memorizing lessons but fail to understand that mere memorizing, without understanding, won't bring any good to them. They should concentrate more on studying based on understanding of the subject matter. Sports and extra-curricular activities should also be a part of student life.
