Repeated attacks on minorities

M.A. Kashem, Mohammadpur, Dhaka
Attacks on Buddhist temples and houses took place more than a year ago, yet no culprit has been punished so far. Even they are roaming freely. Earlier this year, houses and temples of Hindus were attacked and vandalised by mobs after Saydee's verdict. Very recently, in some places Puja Mandaps were vandalised. Usually the government raises finger at Jamaat for these incidents. But since the incidents took place, no one has been arrested. If the culprits are identified and exemplary punishment is meted out to them, attacks on minority communities will not happen repeatedly.
