Dhaka Motor Show returns, but not for the gearheads
The Dhaka Motor Show came back to its old home at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) from May 1 to 3, reclaiming all four halls after a brief relocation to the Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Centre. The venue was packed with cars, bikes, trucks, scooters, lubricants, helmets, tool vendors, accessory peddlers, and food stalls—but not much in the way of actual enthusiasm for driving.

SpaceX's Starbase is now an official city
SpaceX's South Texas rocket facility has been officially incorporated as the city of Starbase after residents overwhelmingly approved the measure in a local vote held this Saturday. The newly formed city, located near the Mexico border, will oversee an area of about 1.5 square miles where SpaceX conducts rocket launches and tests for its NASA and Defense Department contracts, including missions aimed at returning astronauts to the moon and eventually reaching Mars.
