PM should wipe off corruption

The picture of Sheikh Hasina wiping off her tears has really touched my heart (TDS, May 18). It is really sad to know how the two sisters suffered in a foreign land when their father Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, with most of his family members, was assassinated on August 15, 1975. It is of great sorrow that nobody came to help them in their days of distress. But the people of Bangladesh have not forgotten those days. They will always remain by the side of the family members of Bangabandhu. We hope that his daughter Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will lead this country towards progress by fighting corruption. Corruption is the main enemy of this country. Sheikh Hasina must wipe off corruption from every sector of the government. The corrupt government ministers and MPs should not be spared. She must also ensure rule of law. The present scary situation of the country must end. If she can do so, people of Bangladesh will always be by her side.
