Police need positive motivation
This year's 'Police Week' was inaugurated on 6th March by the PM. We always want good service from the police as they are the maintainer of law; but our expectation is not fulfilled always. Police is not working efficiently to protect the citizens. During opposition's anti-government agitation, lots of innocent people have been bullied by the police. Lots of open spaces have been illegally occupied by vendors with the support of police. Some police even take 2 takas from a rickshaw puller in order to let him go through a rickshaw-blocked lane.
If police really wishes to be the friend of citizens, surely they can do it. No high-tech is required for that, just some positive intention and motivation is needed to achieve this goal.
