Public should know full election results

It is very hard to find complete election results in Bangladesh. After the January 5 election, I expected to see full lists of candidates and voting results by constituency published in newspapers, but it never happened. Plenty of articles summarised the results after apparently reviewing vote tallies, but full information was not shared with the wider public. More disappointing, results are still unavailable in the election commission. Even questionable results should be shared with the public because they form the basis for the current parliament.
The current upazila elections are repeating this situation. The EC needs to immediately post online all results from both the national and upazila polls.  Beginning with the upcoming fourth phase, the media needs to get these numbers out for public consumption in a timely manner. Voters deserve more transparency around this information and the public has the right to full results.
