Save school playgrounds

Our politicians now do not even hesitate to grab the school playgrounds. School and college playgrounds often become the target of greedy politicians. One would surely understand that children's potential do not flourish in full unless they are provided with opportunities to engage in extra-curricular activities side by side their regular academic classes. Taking part in various types of sports is one of them. Environment, inside and outside the classroom, is a potent force that strengthens children's knowledge and shapes their character. Educational institutions are going to be affected unless political elements with unholy motives are properly handled. The tendency to turn school playgrounds into private properties has to be curbed with utmost toughness. Let us keep in mind that no nation can afford to produce 'dull' boys and 'dull' girls as they will eventually emerge as 'dull' leaders.
