Serious sound pollution at DU

Dhaka University campus is a perfect place for any kind of social or cultural activities. Various cultural programmes are organised here with the purpose of unifying people of different opinions and groups. But there are also programmes that take place frequently at TSC creating loud noise around the area. Students cannot concentrate on their study because of this noise. Particularly during exams the sound from these programmes becomes unbearable. It is very important that the university authorities formulate a law to regulate the types of programmes that can be held on the campus. And there must be some restrictions on the use of loudspeakers.
