Google Keep
Google Keep is a quick note taking app that promises easy accessibility, virtual backup and fast synchronisation throughout your personal devices, sharing with peers and simplicity.
Keep is fast and smooth enough to work with. It's convenient when you need to quickly jot down sudden thoughts or instructions rather than tap and go through different categories and functions to see which one fits the best. It's also simple enough for beginners because there aren't apparent needless jargons that try to enhance experience. The simple user interface makes it easy to shuffle through previous notes. Additionally, Keep provides a widget that greatly quickens access.
The notes themselves have obvious features like labels, photos, reminders and colours. The colour feature works not to make interface playful (which it does anyway), but works as tags, like distinguishing from personal to professional notes. The search function is universal, meaning your search keywords aren't limited to the titles but include the content.
One feature in which Keep triumphs over its competition is its voice notes. It records your speech, accurately converts it to text and saves the recording as well.
You can also share notes, giving viewing and editing access to friends and family making it easier for group assignments or party planning.
Keep's greatest feature is its backup system. Keep gives the option to save a note to Docs on your Google Drive. Saving quick notes from your desktop for your phone when it is out of charge or out of reach makes the app comfy and convenient to a whole new level.
