Bhabi Janen?

Activities that are par for the course for my gender are simply 'not done' if you have the wrong bits in your body. Boys will be boys, after all, but girls must be ladies, i.e. not actually people.  You may have noticed out #DaysofInjustice hashtag campaign, which deals with our latent sexism's most extreme expressions. It's sickening stuff, and it's easy to treat the sort of offences this week's cover story deals with as comparatively minor, but we shouldn't. Sexism must be addressed and fought as a whole, in all its manifestations.

On a much lighter note, I get to publish my teacher's poetry. Adnan M. S. Fakir is a man of note, and we'll be publishing all 26 installments of his “Wordplay” series over the coming months. Fable Factory is where it's happening.
