NOT witness protection programme
I remember when I had to move away from home to go to college. I used to consider myself wise beyond my years; that idea was decimated on the first day away from home. I did feel like a fish out of water. But I survived and learnt how to make a killer omelette and above average chicken curry [just don't ask me to cook rice on a stove though]. I learnt to respect and cohabit with people whose opinions would initially enrage me.
The cover story in this issue is about moving away from what you perceived as “home” and rebuilding your life in an uncharted territory [not quite as serious as 'witness protection programme' though]. I could totally relate. Do give it a read.
Another article in this issue that hurt my heart is “Dealing with the Loss of a Close Personal Computer”. Been there. Was left devastated. I hope it never happens to you.
