Unconscious Uncoupling

Pet peeve: Friend providing me with lurid details of the rotting carcass that is their relationship [expecting me to get involved]. Friend breaking up with their (in)significant other and not shutting up about it [looking for a sympathetic ear]. Said friend getting back together with former ex and again not shutting up about it [groan].
