Interpreting popular music videos
A woman raps fiercely using slangs as though they are very typical in hip hop music. She flaunts her designer shoes, accessories, exotic cars, and even poses beside a tied leopard. She is overwhelmed with her success and that's why finds it necessary to rap about it. People have been commenting crazy stuff in the comments section. For example, “This song makes me want to fight the water in the shower”.

The unspoken heroes of our friend circles
Fret not; this isn't going to be like one of those 'Every type of friends in a group' kind of read. That analysis has outlived its lifespan. And while the various online quizzes might be fun to try out to some extent, I decided to shed some light on the role of a much underappreciated kind of friend in a group.

Find the words
Are you tired of playing boring games on your phone to avoid socialising with your annoying younger cousins who want to play with you during Eid parties at a relative's house? Well here's yet another one for you.

From one home to another
It was hot inside the bus – there was no air-conditioning. I was engulfed by the stench of stale sweat, cheap cologne and a gloomy scent of desolation. What an oxymoron, though, because the bus was anything but empty, with passengers crammed both inside and on the roof, clutching their bags of coconuts and fresh vegetables that they had collected from

The Beautiful Game
The best part of the FIFA World Cup is that regardless of people's general interest in football, everyone shows up for the WC, especially in Bangladesh. Even though football barely gets any priority in the

Take the Plaantik
Football is the author of Cinderella stories; whether it is Iceland reaching the quarter finals in the Euros and qualifying for the World Cup or Gabriel Jesus going from painting streets only four years ago to spearheading the Brazilian national team's attack on the biggest stage, football has its own unique way of amusing people with tales of joy. We have our very own version of such a success story today, the story of “Plaantik”.

DNA
As I walked through this new city for the first time, something familiar constantly clicked in my mind, making me pause, every now and then. “I have definitely been here before,” I mumbled to myself, skimming my hand over the rough plaster, proceeding forward with the nagging feeling of familiarity.

Types of football fans
Fatiul Huq Sujoy is a tired soul (mostly because of his frail body) who's patiently waiting for Hagrid to appear and tell him, “Ye're a saiyan, lord commander.” Suggest him places to travel and food-ventures to take at fb.com/SyedSujoy

E3 2018: a mixed bag this year
The annual Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) is the biggest event of the gaming calendar. But with rampant leaks and rumours ending up as truth, a lot of E3 2018's charm was lost to its predictability.

Ways to Spend your Eid Salami
For those who don't have any prospects of receiving any salami or have had their money confiscated by their parents, you might want to turn your eyes to the next article. On the other hand, if you're someone who has been blessed with amazing relatives and have a lot of salami to spend, here is how you can spend some of that money.

Spotting the Red Flags
“I told you not to call me anymore”, you whimper into the phone. A part of you, a part which you knew was mistaken, had hoped that this would all be over in one go. However, you soon realise that saying you wanted it all to end was the least challenging aspect of your predicament.

Great Eid Natoks of years gone by
Every year hundreds of new shows come out during the Eid holidays, and in the mess of things it can be difficult to decide on a show to watch to completion. Add to that the ridiculously long advertisements and the experience is downright painful.

Types of friends you make on the journey to self discovery
Being a complex life form with equally complex emotions, ranging from pure euphoria to rage, you are bound to think about your place in this universe. This train of thought eventually leads to the questioning of your own identity and who you are as a person. The journey to your “self discovery” can be aided by a multitude of external factors, such as the books you read, the music you listen to, and, of course, the friends you make along the way.
