Spikes for red light runners

I believe it is a good initiative of DMP to have installed spikes on a road in Dhaka. It should be installed on other roads as well. Spikes can also be set up and synchronized with traffic lights where, if the red light is on, spikes will rise in order to prevent cars from running during the red signal. As soon as the lights go green, the spikes will automatically retract. I believe this will be a good way of making motorists obey traffic signals, as the main reason of traffic jam is the violation of traffic laws.
