Bangladesh confirm Super 6 qualification with Sri Lanka win

Bangladesh beat Sri Lanka by 10 runs in their second Group A match of the ICC Women's T20 Under-19 World Cup at the Willowmoore Park in Benoni on Monday, confirming a place in the Super 6 round.

After being put into bat first, the young Tigresses posted 165-2 on the back of fifties from Afia Prottasha and Shorna Akter and restricted Sri Lanka to 155 for four, courtesy of some adept death bowling by Marufa Akter.who starred with the ball as she picked up two wickets for 19 runs.

Prottasha was adjudged the player of the match for her 53 runs off 43 balls that featured three sixes and five fours.
