Rabindranath Tagore
Rabindranath Tagore is considered the magician of words who has played with them in every form- starting from prose and poetry to novel and dance dramas. The fact that he reshaped Bengali literature and music, as well as Indian art with Contextual Modernism in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, makes this polymath probably the most quoted and best loved personality in every Bengali household. He was highly influential in introducing the best of Indian culture to the West and vice versa, and he is generally regarded as the outstanding creative artist of the modern Indian subcontinent. His compositions were chosen by two nations as national anthems: India's Jana Gana Mana and Bangladesh's Amar Shonar Bangla.

I have become my own version of an optimist. If I can't make it through one door, I'll go through another door - or I'll make a door. Something terrific will come no matter how dark the present.
Don't limit a child to your own learning, for he was born in another time.
Love is the only reality and it is not a mere sentiment. It is the ultimate truth that lies at the heart of creation.
