Rushdi has been playing drums with Bangla Five for many years. He has played drums with several well-known Bangladeshi bands, including Chirkutt.

A new sample pack titled "Contemporary Bangla Choir" has been launched on the music creation platform Splice under the Aaroh label, created and produced by Dhaka-based musician and composer Armeen Musa.
