The month-long Amar Ekushey Grantha Mela 2019 at Bangla Academy premises in Dhaka has been extended by two days.

The month-long Ekushey book fair provides a number of young people with the opportunity to earn some money and have an amicable experience of interacting with visitors while working as stall attendants.

The heavy rains have taken a massive toll on the book stalls and also damaged thousands of books at the Ekushey book fair.
