Celebrities rally behind quota reform amid violent clashes
In the wake of recent violent clashes between student protesters and Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) activists at Dhaka University, a wave of support from celebrities has emerged for the quota reform movement. The incident, which occurred on July 15, resulted in approximately 300 injuries, including female students and BCL members. As of July 16 (7:30pm), six students have been reported to be killed nationwide due to the ongoing clashes.
