The skies opened up over the capital on Tuesday afternoon, drenching the National Stadium in a torrential downpour that cut short Bangladesh’s first training session for the Asian Cup Qualifiers fixture against Hong Kong, China at home on October 9.

US-based left-back Zayyan Ahmed has been drafted into the 28-member preliminary Bangladesh squad for their two matches against Hong Kong in the Asian Cup Qualifiers following his impressive performance for the Under-23 side in the AFC U-23 Asian Cup Qualifiers in Vietnam earlier this month.
