9th pay scale: Up to 100% basic pay hike proposed

A high-level secretaries’ committee on implementing the 9th Pay Scale has recommended increasing the basic salaries of government employees in grades one to 20 by up to 100 percent, according to an e-book titled “180 Days of the People’s Government”, published by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) to mark the government’s first six months in office.
