Bangladesh went ahead with their training plans in their very first session at Chattogram's Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium behind closed doors yesterday. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) had informed on Saturday night that the gates would remain closed and no access would be given to 'facilitate' the closed-door session.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) revealed the ticket prices for the three-match ODI series between Bangladesh and Afghanistan at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram starting on Wednesday. 

Veterans Jahanara Alam and Rumana Ahmed were excluded from Bangladesh's 20-member preliminary squad for the upcoming series against India at home, announced the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB).

"It's not easy for girls to play cricket in Bangladesh. You need wickets and pitches and equipment. Given the impediments girls have overcome to play cricket, we have not been able to do much for them. In a different place, they would get more facilities," Nazmul said bluntly

Bangladesh Cricket Board president Nazmul Hassan Papon announced on Monday at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium that the board has increased the wages and match fees of the women’s cricketers significantly.

Tamim Iqbal's back issue had resurfaced during the national team camp and he had been rested on Thursday owing to the pain. Three days later on his return to the Tigers' practice yesterday, Tamim's back problem has not shown signs of relenting.

The tickets for the of the one-off Test between Bangladesh and Afghanistan scheduled to begin from June 14 will be available at the ticket booths of the Shaheed Suhrawardi Indoor Stadium in Mirpur from 9:00am to 5:00pm on match days, said a press release from the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB).
