Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) president Tamim Iqbal has defended his decision to postpone this season's Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), pushing back against critics by asserting that only a "partial story" of the controversy has been told.

The BPL window is fixed for December-January, and Tamim said that the franchise-based T20 tournament is not a priority for the board right now.
