Arguably, Chanchal Chowdhury is the biggest star in Bangladesh right now, with most of his projects reaching international acclaim.

It has been confirmed that prolific Bangladeshi actor Chanchal Chowdhury will play the role of Mrinal Sen in the great director’s biopic.

Noted actor Chanchal Chowdhury, will be sharing the screen with Tollywood actress Monami Ghosh in the much anticipated Mrinal Sen biopic “Padatik”. Directed by Srijit Mukherji, the filming of the biopic will likely start in January. 

Noted actor Chanchal Chowdhury, who is currently enjoying the success of “Hawa” and the web series "Karagar," will portray Mrinal Sen in an upcoming biopic titled “Padatik” about the renowned director. 

Chanchal’s Chowdhury’s father, Radha Govinda Chowdhury, passed away today at 7:50 pm. He had been admitted to the capital’s green life hospital after his health deteriorated.
