Ahead of a crucial hearing in two separate murder cases against Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh and others, security has been tightened in Panchkula town in Indian state of Haryana, reports Times of India.

Two secret tunnels and an illegal explosives factory are found inside the premises of the Dera Sacha Sauda headquarters near Haryana’s Sirsa town on day two of the search by security forces and authorities.

Dera Sacha Sauda chief Ram Rahim is sentenced to 10-year jail, three days after he was held guilty of rape and criminal intimidation by a special CBI court in Panchkula. Justice Jagdeep Singh, who held Ram Rahim guilty of the said charges, pronounces the sentence at a makeshift court on Rohtak jail premises.
