The High Court today (August 4, 2022) declared that the decision by Dhaka University authorities to demote faculty member Samia Rahman on charges of plagiarism was “illegal”.

Dhaka University teacher Samia Rahman, who has been demoted to assistant professor on charge of plagiarism, today claimed that she is innocent and is a victim of "colleagues' conspiracy".
