Nestle says it will destroy more than $50m worth of its hugely popular Maggi noodles, following a ban imposed by India's food safety regulator.

Case is lodged against Nestle India over safety standards of its Maggi product, while actors Amitabh Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit and Preity Zinta are dragged to court for promoting brand.
