Thunderstorms and rains lashed four states of India leaving at least 76 people dead and nearly hundreds injured on Sunday night, officials say.

At least 12 people are killed as a dust storm and thunder shower hit parts of northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh last night, a senior official says.
