The tournament’s hybrid model, however, means that despite India's hosting rights, Pakistan’s matches is unlikely to take place on Indian soil. 

The Champions Trophy is slated to be played across three venues -- Lahore, Rawalpindi and Karachi -- from February 19 to March 9 next year.
