At least six people have been killed and 19 others went missing after a dam in India's Maharashtra's coastal Konkan region breached following incessant rain leading to flood-like situation in downstream villages, officials said.

A total of 465 persons have lost their lives and over 1.3 million people have been affected by floods and rains in five Indian states during the current monsoon so far.

Three people, including two children, dies due to electrocution as pre-monsoon showers hit Mumbai on Saturday evening, reports NDTV.
