Reflecting on this Father’s Day, I realise that we spend so much time waiting for our fathers to speak our language that we fail to learn theirs.

Parenting does not come with a manual or a guide. I am repeatedly being told that every pregnancy is unique, and every child born will be unique.

When it comes to expressing feelings for father, words fall short. Fathers, from whom we seek solutions for all our problems and needs, and we always find him fighting for our hardships, inspiring us to overcome hurdles of life. Our fathers thus enable us to take a better grip on our individual lives.
