The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) has raised the prices of jet fuel for domestic and international airlines by over 21 percent, which is expected to have an impact on travel costs in the days to come.

From midnight tonight, Jet A-1 price will be Tk 159.52 a litre, $1.0358 for international flights

BERC also cut the rate for international carriers to $0.8556 per litre for July
