Prices of eggs, fish, and meat have increased in the capital’s kitchen markets, including Shewrapara, Kazipara, Ibrahimpur, Farmgate, and Karwan Bazar. Prices of most vegetables, on the other hand, remain unchanged.

Prices of beef, chicken and potatoes have increased in the capital’s kitchen markets over the last week and a half.

With Ramadan less than a week away, the high prices of chicken and meat are not likely to come down anytime soon.
