Prior to this, Farooki mentioned, "The work on 'Autobiography' is complete, the festival screenings are over, and there is a sense of peace I feel about the film. In two days, it will be screened in Mumbai. And within just a few days, we will have to deliver the film to the distributors, so that everyone can watch it soon."

One does not get the opportunity to witness the candid chemistry between the much-loved real-life couple in our industry, Mostofa Sarwar Farooki and Nusrat Imrose Tisha. Celebrity couple Mostofa Sarwar Farooki and Nusrat Imrose Tisha will be coming together on screen for the first time for his film “Something like an Autobiography”, one of the 12 love stories from anthology film series “Ministry of Love.” The on-screen duo also co-wrote the screenplay for the web-film.

Mostofa Sarwar Farooki’s “Ministry of Love” will feature 12 projects which will be helmed by 12 noted directors. Farooki himself will be directing two projects- “Something Like an Autobiography” and “Last Defenders of Monogamy.”

However, the film has not received the official clearance letter, which will let Farooki go about planning the theatrical release of the movie—which he wants to happen before “Faraaz” comes out this February 3.

Ekushey Padak winning actor Mamunur Rashid will soon be seen in the Mostafa Sarwar Farooki directorial, "Saturday Afternoon" (Shonibar Bikel). After four long years, the film has finally gained clearance from the censor board. Speaking about the good news, Mamunur Rashid said, "I am overjoyed at the fact that ‘Saturday Afternoon’ is finally on its way to a theatrical release in Bangladesh.”

As Bollywood gets ready to release “Faraaz”, a movie based on the Holey Artisan attack, Mostofa Sarwar Farooki’s “Saturday Afternoon”—based on the same event—is still stuck in censor board limbo.

After Mostofa Sarwar Farooki became vocal on social media about not receiving approval for his film "Saturday Afternoon" from the Censor Board of Bangladesh, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting have set a hearing date for the Censor Board Appeal Committee. 

"Faraaz" is based on one of the most gruesome events in Bangladesh’s history, the Holey Artisan attack in 2016. The Hansal Mehta directorial is set to be released in cinema halls on February 3 this year, as announced by the makers.
