Karachi Kings edged Lahore Qalandars by four wickets in a tense, low-scoring Pakistan Super League clash at Gaddafi Stadium on Sunday, as Bangladesh duo Parvez Hossain Emon and Mustafizur Rahman, both representing Lahore, produced mixed returns.

Bangladesh pacer Shoriful Islam has joined fellow Tigers quick Nahid Rana at Peshawar Zalmi for the 11th season of the Pakistan Super League, scheduled to run from March 26 to May 3.

For now, the home win is a welcome boost.

Prime Bank’s Tamim Iqbal struck an 83-ball 65 while in-form opener Parvez Hossain struck his third DPL ton this season, notching a 111-ball 110. Shabbir Rahman struck 39 as well but after the 122-run opening stand and the 96-run third-wicket stand, wickets fell regularly as Prime Bank managed 279 all out.

Prime Bank made it four wins out of four in the Dhaka Premier League yesterday as birthday boy Tamim Iqbal returned amongst the runs. In the adjacent field at BKSP, Shakib Al Hasan returned to DPL action too and played a hand in Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club's win.
